Accessibility Statement

Bowman Web Services LLC is committed to making VacationClubPromo.com accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement explains the steps we take, what we still have to improve, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier on this site.

Our Commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project — every new resort page, blog post, and template change is reviewed for accessibility before deploy.

What We Have Done

  • Color contrast. Body text meets the WCAG AA contrast minimum (4.5:1) against the background.
  • Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable using the keyboard.
  • Image alt text. Resort photos and content images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked accordingly.
  • Semantic HTML. Pages use proper heading order, landmark regions (header, main, footer), and ARIA labels where appropriate.
  • Responsive design. The site reflows at mobile and tablet widths and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Form labels. Form fields on contact and booking forms are explicitly labeled and announce errors to assistive technology.
  • Video. Embedded videos are served from YouTube, which provides automatic captions; viewers can also enable transcripts inside the YouTube player.

What We Are Still Improving

We know we are not perfect. Areas we are actively working to improve:

  • Caption quality on third-party YouTube embeds (we rely on the creator’s captions where available)
  • Long-form content readability (line-height, paragraph spacing, large-text mode)
  • ARIA states on interactive shortcodes (image galleries, accordion sections)
  • Color-only signaling on a small number of badges and status indicators

If you find any other barrier, please tell us — we will fix it.

Browsers and Assistive Technology

This site is tested with:

  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (current and one previous major version)
  • Screen readers: NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
  • Operating systems: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, iOS 16+, Android 12+

If you use assistive technology that is not on this list and you encounter a problem, please reach out so we can investigate.

We respond to accessibility requests within two business days. If your request is time-sensitive (for example, an in-progress booking), please mark the subject line ACCESSIBILITY — URGENT and we will prioritize it.

Reporting an Accessibility Barrier

We treat accessibility issues the same way we treat any site bug — they get logged, reproduced, prioritized, and fixed. When reporting an issue, it helps us if you include:

  • The URL or page name where you encountered the issue
  • A short description of what you were trying to do
  • The browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using
  • Any error message or unexpected behavior

Third-Party Content

Some content on this site is provided by third parties — resort photographs from Sandos, Krystal, and Villa Group official channels; embedded YouTube videos from independent creators; chat and form services from Brevo, DocuSign, and Telnyx. We work to ensure third-party tools meet accessibility standards, but we do not control the underlying technology of every embedded service. If a third-party tool blocks your access, please tell us and we will provide an alternate path to the same information.
