How Timeshare Promotions Work

A vacation club (timeshare) resort offers you a stay at a fraction of the retail price in exchange for two hours of your time. During your stay you attend a presentation where the resort introduces their vacation club program. You are under zero legal or financial obligation to buy. If you decline, your promotional rate stands and you enjoy the rest of your trip.

The discount is real. These are the same rooms, the same pools, the same buffets, and the same ocean view — at 50–80% below what you would pay booking direct. The only difference is two hours on day two or three.
