How Vacation Club Promotional Packages Work

Vacation club promotional packages are discounted all-inclusive resort stays offered through a resort’s vacation club program. You get a real stay at a promotional all-in price. In exchange, you and your partner attend one 90–120 minute presentation about the optional membership program during your stay.

That’s the arrangement. The price you see is the all-in price (taxes and booking/minivac fees included). No open-dated packages. No obligation to buy anything. Your promotional rate is locked when you sign the reservation agreement.

Step 1: Check if you qualify

Qualification rules are set by the resort, not by us. For Sandos packages the live qualification block is:

Couple requirement: Married or cohabitating couple. Single travelers cannot qualify. At least one partner must be between 28 and 70 at the time of the presentation.

Income: Combined annual household income of $60,000 USD or more.

Employment: At least one partner full-time employed with a legally recorded job. Part-time does not qualify. Pensions and retirement income alone do not qualify.

Credit card: At least one valid personalized major credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. Digital wallets, corporate cards, extension cards, and debit cards are not accepted.

Citizenship: U.S. citizen (excluding Puerto Rico) or Canadian citizen (excluding Quebec/Montreal).

ID and language: Valid photo ID for both partners. Both must speak, read, and write fluent English or Spanish and be able to sign without a translator.

Step 2: Pick your resort and dates

We book Mexico and the Caribbean. Reliably bookable inventory is heavily Sandos:

• Sandos Playacar (Playa del Carmen) — family + adults-only sections. 3-night all-in $435 / $615 / $735 for 2 adults + 2 kids 12 and under.
• Sandos Caracol Eco (Riviera Maya) — cenotes and water park. Same 3-night family rates as Playacar.
• Sandos Cancún (Hotel Zone, 18+) — 3-night all-in $555 / $795 / $975.
• Sandos Finisterra (Cabo San Lucas) — same 3-night adults rates as Cancún.

You choose exact travel dates. We confirm availability and the all-in total before you commit. No open-dated vouchers.

Step 3: Sign and pay

Once dates and resort are confirmed, you receive a reservation agreement. It includes check-in and check-out dates, room type, all-in total, qualification requirements, and terms.

Read it. That document controls — not anything said on the phone, in chat, or on this website.

Payment is processed after you sign. You receive confirmation with reservation details.

Step 4: Arrive and enjoy

Check in at the resort. A $750 USD refundable guarantee hold is typically placed on your credit card — a temporary authorization, not a charge. It is released when you check out after meeting the terms.

Contact the hotel concierge to schedule the 90–120 minute presentation. It cannot take place on the first or last day, or on December 25 or January 1, and you cannot have other appointments the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a timeshare? The resorts operate vacation club membership programs. During your stay you attend a presentation. You stay at the actual resort. You are under zero obligation to purchase.

What’s the catch? The 90–120 minute presentation. That’s it. Your promotional rate is guaranteed whether you say yes or no.

Can I bring my family? Depends on the resort. Sandos Cancún is adults-only (18+). Playacar and Caracol include 2 kids 12 and under in the 3-night all-in base. Finisterra welcomes kids as extras. Other brands confirm child rules before booking.

What if I don’t qualify? You cannot book the promotional package. We verify before booking to avoid problems at check-in.

What happens if I skip the presentation? You lose the promotional rate and can be charged the full rack rate. That is in the reservation agreement.

Is the $750 deposit a charge? No. It is a refundable guarantee hold.

Can I book for someone else? No. Packages are non-transferable.

How far in advance do I need to book? Tell us your dates. We confirm whether the package is available before you sign or pay.
