What's included in the all-inclusive package?
All meals at the resort’s restaurants and buffets, snacks throughout the day, unlimited domestic and premium-brand drinks at all bars, room service (hours vary by property), non-motorized water sports, fitness center access, daily entertainment and pool/beach activities, and all resort taxes and service fees. Specifically excluded items are listed below in “What’s NOT included.”
What are the qualification requirements?
This is a promotional vacation-club package, which has specific guest criteria: married couples ages 30–68, cohabitating couples ages 30–60, same-sex married couples ages 35–60, and single travelers ages 35–65. Combined household income must be $50,000 USD per year or higher. Residents of the U.S. or Canada (Quebec excluded). All adults in your party must attend a 120-minute resort club presentation during your stay. We’ll confirm qualification before booking — if you don’t qualify, we’ll let you know upfront, no charge.
What is the 120-minute resort club presentation?
It’s the trade-off that makes the price work. All adults in your party attend a 120-minute sit-down with a resort club representative who explains the vacation club membership program. You don’t have to buy anything — most guests don’t. The presentation runs once during your stay, at a scheduled time you book on arrival, leaving the rest of your trip free. No surprise stops, no pressure to extend.
What if my first-choice resort isn't available?
Because this is a promotional package, the resort reserves the right to substitute within the same destination zone if your dates aren’t available at your first pick. Substitutions are always comparable-or-better properties in the same brand family or partner network. We’ll confirm your specific resort assignment 30–60 days before arrival. If a substitution is offered and you’d rather wait or change dates, the 24-month travel-credit window applies.
How does the airport transfer work?
Round-trip airport transfers are included on most VCP packages — you’ll be met at arrivals after customs and driven directly to the resort, then picked up at your scheduled departure. We send transfer confirmation details (driver name, meet point) 7 days before your trip. If you’re flying into a hub airport with a long ground transfer (Cancún → Riviera Maya, Punta Cana → Uvero Alto), expect 25–60 minutes depending on resort location.
Can we add nights, extra adults, or extra kids?
Yes. Extra nights are added at $125/adult/night and $47/kid 3–12/night (whole party rate). Maximum 3 extra nights on most packages, peak/off-peak season only — no holiday-week extensions. Additional adults beyond two are $125/night. Kids under 3 stay free. Larger families may need a second room — contact us for a quote.
What's NOT included?
Premium liquor brands above the included list, spa treatments, off-property excursions, motorized water sports, golf and golf cart rental, gratuities (recommended but optional, ~$5–10 per day for housekeeping and bar staff), international phone calls and internet packages beyond the included WiFi, room minibar restocks, and the optional resort club membership program that’s pitched at the presentation.
What does the Preferred Club tier add at Dreams Sapphire?
Sapphire’s Preferred Club is the upgraded tier with: private check-in lounge, dedicated concierge, premium liquor list (above the standard all-inclusive brands), Preferred-only pool with bottle service, à la carte breakfast in the Preferred lounge, and upgraded room categories. The promotional package gets you the standard Dreams all-inclusive product; Preferred is offered as an upgrade. Like Jade, Sapphire sits in Puerto Morelos — quieter coastline than the Hotel Zone, 25 minutes south of Cancun airport.
