If you're staying at Cofresí, your Ocean World tickets are already in the package.

Ocean World Adventure Park sits in Cofresí Bay — minutes from the Lifestyle Holidays resorts and reachable by a short shuttle ride. It's a full-scale marine park with the kind of animal encounters most people travel to Florida or California for, except here you get them inside an all-inclusive package that includes pool time, beachfront, and Caribbean lunch.

The headline experience is the dolphin encounter — three options ranging from a knee-deep meet-and-greet to a full swim where the dolphins tow you across the lagoon. Beyond the dolphins, there's a sea lion show, a shark feeding (the sharks are nurse sharks; safe to swim with), a sting ray petting tank, a tropical bird sanctuary, a snorkel reef built around a sunken Mayan-themed shipwreck, and a tiger encounter that's been a fixture of the park for years.

What's included vs what costs extra

The Cofresí package includes standard admission — full access to the park, the sea lion and dolphin shows, the bird sanctuary, the snorkel reef, the swimming pools, and lunch at one of the on-site restaurants. The animal encounter add-ons (dolphin swim, shark dive, sea lion encounter, tiger photo) are billed separately and run roughly $90–$160 per person depending on the experience. Book the encounters in advance through the resort tour desk — peak slots fill on cruise-ship days.

Best time to go

Get there at opening (9 AM). The park gets crowded between 11 AM and 2 PM when cruise excursions arrive from Amber Cove. Hit the dolphin encounter early, then loop the smaller exhibits, then hit the snorkel lagoon while everyone else is at lunch. Pack swimwear under your clothes — there are changing rooms but lines are slow on busy days.

Practical tips

Book encounters in advance through the Cofresí tour desk. Peak slots — especially the dolphin swim — fill on cruise-ship days.
Arrive at 9 AM opening. You'll have the park largely to yourself for the first 90 minutes. Cruise crowds pour in around 11 AM.
Wear swimwear under your clothes. Multiple water exhibits — having to change in line costs you the early-morning window.
Bring a waterproof phone case. Most encounters allow you to take your own photos. Park photographers are also available.
Reef-safe sunscreen only for the snorkel lagoon. The animals share the same water.
Lunch is included. Don't book a separate lunch on the same day — you'll regret it.
