Affiliate & Resort Partner Disclosure

This page explains how VacationClubPromo.com makes money, who pays us, and what that means for you. We disclose this in plain language because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires it (16 CFR Part 255) and because we believe you deserve to know.

How We Get Paid

VacationClubPromo.com is a promotional marketing partner, not a travel seller. We do not own, operate, or manage any resort. We do not sell travel directly and are not a Florida-registered Seller of Travel. We receive compensation from the resorts and their vacation club programs when a qualified guest is introduced through us, books a promotional package directly with the resort, attends the required vacation club presentation, and completes their stay.

In other words: the resort pays us a marketing or referral fee for each completed promotional booking. The reservation, payment, and travel-related services are handled by the resort and its vacation club program. The price you pay for your promotional package is set by the resort — our compensation does not increase your cost.

What This Means For You

  • You don’t pay extra because of our compensation arrangement. The promotional rate you see is the same rate the resort offers through this channel regardless of who books it. Our fee comes from the resort, not from you.
  • We have a financial interest in your booking. We are paid only if you complete a qualifying stay. That gives us an incentive to recommend properties we have promotional agreements with — we are not a neutral travel agent comparing every resort in Mexico.
  • We do not sell or share your information with unrelated marketers. Compensation comes from the named resort partner, not from data brokers or advertising networks. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Resort Partner Relationships

The resorts featured on this site are not VCP-owned. We have promotional agreements (direct or through authorized intermediaries) with the following resort groups:

  • Sandos Hotels & Resorts — Sandos Cancún, Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, Sandos Playacar, Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos
  • Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club — Cofresi Beach
  • Krystal Hotels & Resorts — Krystal Cancún (additional Krystal properties may be added)
  • Villa Group / Villa del Palmar — promotional agreements pending; properties currently shown for reference and not bookable through this site

If we add or remove a resort partner, the change is reflected on the resorts page within a reasonable time.

Why “Promotional” Means a Tour Requirement

The reason these rates are deeply discounted is that the resort is using the promotion to introduce guests to its vacation club / timeshare program. As part of every promotional package, both qualifying adults are required to attend a single 90- to 120-minute vacation club presentation during their stay. We disclose this requirement on every resort page, in our Terms & Conditions, and at the time of booking.

There is no obligation to purchase anything during or after the presentation. Your promotional rate is guaranteed regardless of whether you decline the membership offer.

Independent Editorial Content

Resort descriptions, amenities lists, photos, and embedded videos are sourced from the resorts’ official materials, public photo libraries, and independent content creators (YouTube reviewers, travel bloggers). We label embedded YouTube content with the original creator’s name and channel so you know who made it. Our editorial selections — which resorts we feature, what facts we highlight, what reviews we link — are made independently of the size of any individual partner’s marketing budget.

Third-Party Tools and Tracking

The site uses third-party tools to operate and measure performance. Some of these may have affiliate or referral relationships of their own:

  • Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager — analytics, no affiliate relationship
  • Microsoft Clarity — session replay, no affiliate relationship
  • Brevo — email signup and transactional email delivery, no affiliate relationship
  • DocuSign — electronic signature for booking agreements, no affiliate relationship
  • Telnyx — call recording and AI voice agent infrastructure, no affiliate relationship
  • YouTube embeds — video hosting; YouTube may display ads inside the embedded player and may share advertising revenue with the original video creator (not with us)

If we ever add an affiliate-link product (such as Amazon Associates, travel insurance, or airport transfer affiliate offers), we will update this disclosure and label affected pages individually.

Independence Statement

We do everything we can to be transparent about how the promotional vacation industry actually works. This includes telling you upfront about the tour requirement, the qualification criteria, the refundable deposit, and the fact that we are paid by the resort. If you would prefer to book a resort directly without a vacation club presentation, you should book through the resort’s own website or a standard travel agent — those rates are higher because they do not include the presentation requirement, but they do not include our promotional discount either.
